The Grosvenor sits in one of Glasgow's grandest Victorian terraces, directly across Great Western Road from the Botanic Gardens — which means your ceremony gets 19th-century elegance and your photographs get a botanic backdrop, all within a hundred yards. It's the West End's classic hotel wedding, and it's ten minutes from my front door.

The Grosvenor's function suites do traditional glamour properly — chandeliers, high ceilings, room for the big family wedding that wants everything under one roof. Guests stay over, the dancing stays late, and nobody worries about taxis.
The Botanics as your front garden
Cross the road and you're in the Botanic Gardens for photographs — couples often nip over between ceremony and dinner while guests enjoy the drinks reception, coming back with pictures under the trees or by the Kibble Palace glass. Add Ashton Lane's cobbles and fairy lights ten minutes' walk away, and the Grosvenor might have the best photo radius in Glasgow. I know every corner of it — it's my neighbourhood.
