Every celebrant claims to know their venues well. At Ardoch, I can go one better: this 133-acre estate above Loch Lomond is managed by my cousin, Annie Cullinane. Which means when you marry at Ardoch, your celebrant and your venue team have been coordinating family gatherings since long before yours — and nothing about your day gets lost between us.

A whole weekend, a whole estate, wholly yours
Ardoch runs on a philosophy I love: exclusive use, properly meant. From Friday afternoon to Sunday morning the whole estate is yours — eighteen bedrooms for your nearest and dearest, the contemporary Barn for dinner and dancing, gardens and grounds rolling toward the loch, and those views across Loch Lomond that do a ceremony's set-dressing for free. There's no such thing as a set wedding here; the estate bends to your day, not the other way round.
Why the family connection actually matters
It's not just a nice line. It means your ceremony plans and your venue logistics never drift apart — timings, weather calls, where the arch goes when the wind swings round — because the two people responsible talk like family, since we are. I know the estate in every season, and between Annie's team and me, an Ardoch wedding runs like something rehearsed for years. A lochside handfasting on the lawn with the loch below? That's a home fixture.
